HowIsMyGolf Workshop is about finding used, forgotten and well-played golf clubs and giving them another life — starting with putters.

We carefully restore and rejuvenate each club while preserving the marks, character and history that make older golf equipment interesting in the first place.

Restore. Refurbish. Reuse.

This isn’t about making an old putter look factory-new.

It’s about bringing it back to its best.

Depending on the club and its condition, a Workshop restoration may include careful cleaning, removal of corrosion, polishing and refinishing, refreshed paintwork and a new grip — while retaining the character it has developed over years of play.

The result is a putter ready to go back into somebody’s bag and be played again.

Alongside the finished putter, we’ll document its model, condition and the work undertaken, with before-and-after photography showing its transformation.

No two restorations will be quite the same.

Why restore?

Golf equipment is constantly being replaced by the next new thing. Putters are different.

Some designs have remained fundamentally good for decades. Many older putters don’t need replacing — they simply need looking after.

That’s the thinking behind HowIsMyGolf Workshop:
